How therapy works
You can learn tools that help you process trauma and move beyond survival mode.
Together, we will gently process traumatic memories and the negative beliefs you may hold about yourself, helping you feel less anxious, more grounded, and at ease in your body and mind. We’ll work with difficult emotions like shame, guilt, and insecurity, giving you tools to build self-confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self-worth.
Through EMDR, you can release the hold of past experiences that keep you stuck, reduce the intensity of triggers, and reclaim a sense of safety and control in your life. You’ll learn to focus on the present moment, connect more deeply with yourself and others, and start to truly feel “good enough.”
EMDR therapy helps you move out of “survival mode,” which keeps you reliving the past, and into a space where you can thrive—living authentically, feeling more joy, and engaging fully with life.

On average, 8-12 sessions are recommended for a single incident. However, if you experienced multiple incidents or they were ongoing (complex trauma), this requires longer treatment.
